Ryedale Table Table Tennis League is a small, friendly league based in North Yorkshire. The area covered by the league is very large, extending from Whitby in the north, York in the south, Helmsley in the west and Scarborough in the east, with the majority of players based around the towns of Malton and Pickering. There are currently 29 teams representing 13 clubs, playing in three divisions. The location of the clubs can be seen below and details of the teams, including contact information can be found here. The league, which was founded in 1958, is affiliated to both the ETTA (English Table Tennis Association) and YTTA (Yorkshire Table Tennis Association). Annual events include a closed tournament played in spring, a team handicap KO competition and a presentation evening with dinner and entertainment, held at the end of the season. The league has its own successful veterans team, playing in the Yorkshire 'Vets' League, and has helped to develop a number of promising youngsters who now have national rankings. New players of all standards are always welcome: if you are interested in joining one of the league's clubs you can find information here.
